How do I order your hardware?

Can I purchase a sample before placing an order?
Yes, of course! We offer loaner samples for customer approval. Look over the samples and send them back.

What is the lead-time?
Our hand crafted products typically ship within 4-6 weeks from Seattle, Washington. Custom orders can take three to ten weeks longer to deliver, depending upon the complexity of the design.

What is green/sustainable about your products?
FUSION2 is recycled aluminum, sourced and cast in Washington State.  All of the other metal bases are cast from lead-free pewter by a family foundry in Northern California. BRIDGE stainless steel door pulls are individually fabricated by a Seattle master craftsman.

The LUMINOUS, BEACH PEBBLE and BRIDGE lines feature hand made, 100% RECYCLED GLASS glass.  We offer twenty colors that are either post-consumer or post-industrial. Custom color mixes are available.

The gorgeous eco-resin we use in the VARIATION cabinet hardware line is 40% post-industrial reclaimed material and GREENGUARD certified. We offer seven rich, durable cork colors as a decorative element in FUSION and FUSION2 .

What other handmade items do you offer?
Fused art glass panels are formed in the SpectraDécor studio and fashioned into HUE tile and HUE hardware. Lampworked and fused glass is featured in the GINGER KELLY line. ELLIOTT blown glass drapery finials(http://www.spectradecor.com/elliott.html) and other accessories are crafted in Seattle.

Can I customize?
Each of our product lines offers many choices in color and shapes. We can even make completely custom
sizes and shapes. Please ask for a quote.

Which metal finishes do you offer?
Our standard finish for the pewter hardware bases (LUMINOUS, VARIATION, PURE, FUSION) is Satin Pewter. It is a living finish, which means that it will darken slightly over time. The pewter bases can be finished as Polished & Satin Nickel, Dark Bronze, Bright & Satin Brass. Our standard finish for recycled aluminum (FUSION2) is Satin Aluminum. We also offer Dark Bronze.
Our finishes comply with the RoHS European directive.  Please inquire for more information and custom quotes.

What's with the funky shipping boxes?
Our packaging & shipping materials are entirely reusable and recyclable. When you receive a box from SpectraDécor, you may notice that the shipping materials are used. Please pass them along!
